Unlike traditional video based swing analysis systems, Motion Golf is the first of its kind motion capture system that renders a golfer's swing in a 3-Dimensional animated model, offering a 360 degree swing view all in real time.

The system captures, interprets and relays data across various facets of a golfer's swing, ranging from core elements such as Clubhead Path, Swing Plane & Balance to more specialized aspects such as Posture, Hand Speed, Club Impact, Speed Plane and also Body Lines.

Extended options such as 'Step into a Pro' which allow or a golfer to either superimpose or compare in real time his swing with that of a Professional Golfer has clearly made the Motion Golf system the 'fastest game improvement tool' available today. The system is also able to go beyond fundamental parameters of swing analysis by allowing instructors to 'look' into the students swing biomechanics which aids in the development of an efficient physical fitness program which could then seamlessly be integrated with swing instruction. The system is simple and non invasive, driven purely by optics where reflective markers placed on a golfer help the system create a 3D animated character that is in-sync with the subject on a real time basis thus capturing swing motion with extreme accuracy and engineering precision. The Motion Golf System has been developed by its parent, Motion Reality inc. a pioneer in the field of 3D Real Time engineering analysis who have successfully created virtual reality, simulation and 3D graphical animation systems used by Hollywood production companies as well as the US Army. Leading tour professionals like Sergio Garcia, Anthony Kim & Mitchell Spearmen use the system as part of their routine training programs.

IT TEACHES "FEEL" - With this system a golfer can step into a tour pro's swing...to do and know. It provides powerful, effective, and immediate feedback that sticks. Teachers are unanimous in that it creates faster improvements in swing performance than conventional approaches, with estimates of 4 to 9 times faster.

Detailed Swing Data

IT'S DEAD-ON ACCURATE - The 3D motion of the body and club, and all the underlying performance data are accurately analyzed with incredible engineering precision, even down to club head speed,of the shaft and precise club head positions during the swing and at impact, which means it provides validation for coaching suggestions that lead to "Oh, I see." Putting

"Step Into" a Pro's Swing

IT TEACHES FEEL - The player's swing can be compared to the swing of an expert as a model for teaching or compare to the player's previously captured 3D swing motion. In addition, the player can "step into" a live virtual reality world and feel the tour player's swing.

The Putting Stroke

IT TEACHES PUTTING - The system has the unique capability to perform a detailed evaluation of a player's putting stroke, in addition to all the swing characteristics of irons and woods like weight transfer, swing planes, cocking angle, speed planes, and the x-factor.

Technology

The motion capture process is simple and non-invasive, as the system is totally optical and tetherless. Small reflective markers are placed on the subject and the system instantly renders a 3D graphics character.

Motion Golf is unique in the golf world. We've created a Fitness program that is seamlessly integrated with swing instruction to give you the fastest route to longer, straighter drives. We know that often golf pros are asking you to move in a way that just isn't physically possible. By coordinating golf instruction with specific fitness programs, Motion Golf gives you the physical requirements needed for a great swing. How good you look and feel is a nice side effect.

Motion Golf Fitness also realizes that avid golfers are not Tour players. So we created a program that is easy, accessible to anyone of any age or fitness level, and takes just 10 minutes a day. "Core" has become a buzz word in the golf world, but there are many misunderstandings of this key concept in golf biomechanics. Further, many large classes may explain intellectually the concept of core, but do not allow for practice "feeling" recruitment of the true core and applying that to golf.

The purpose of this practical workshop for teaching professionals, is to:
  • Practice teaching students to add Core principles to all their golf skills
  • Understand the definition of Core
  • Learn the Anatomy and physiology of the Core muscle groups
  • Learn Why the Core is important in Golf
  • See how crunches won't help the golf swing
  • Experience recruitment of the Core muscles while in the address position
  • Feel how proper breathing will assist in Core engagement
  • Apply Core principles to putting
  • Apply Core principles to the short game
  • Apply Core principles to the full swing
